This weekend (2nd till 4th September), the fourth round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup is on the schedule for Haupt Racing Team. The team from Meuspath will be on the grid with three cars when the lights go green at Hockenheimring on Sunday: two Mercedes-AMG GT3s will be competing in the Silver Cup during the three-hour race while HRT is represented with one car in the Gold Cup.

Mercedes-AMG Team HRT rewards itself with a race win for Luca Stolz (GER) at the DTM "Heimspiel" at the Nürburgring. This weekend, 26 to 28 August, the second half of the DTM season gets underway at the Nürburgring powered by Mercedes-AMG. Haupt Racing Team lines up in the two sprint races with two Mercedes-AMG GT3, driven by Luca Stolz (GER) and Arjun Maini (IND). Both cars start under the title “Mercedes-AMG Team HRT”.  

Haupt Racing Team can look forward to a real highlight on the last weekend in July (28th to 31st July), when Circuit de Spa-Franchorchamps hosts the 74th edition of the legendary TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa. HRT will field three cars and a strong driver line-up at the endurance classic in the Belgian Ardennes, and have their sights set on class wins in the Silver Cup and the new Gold Cup.

With a solid performance, the two DTM drivers Lucas Auer (AUT) and Arjun Maini (IND), as well as Jordan Love (AUS) achieved a strong 6th place overall in the blue and yellow BILSTEIN Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the Haupt Racing Team at the “ROWE 6-Stunden ADAC Ruhr-Pokal Rennen”.

HRT will also compete in the traditional ROWE 6 Hours ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Race as part of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Team owner Hubert Haupt (GER) will share the cockpit of the #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with the two DTM drivers Luca Stolz (GER) and Lucas Auer (AUT).

Two top-eight finishes, that's the result of the Mercedes-AMG Team HRT at the fourth race weekend of the DTM 2022. The weekend at the Norisring was marked by defects, crashes and retirements, which also affected Mercedes-AMG Team HRT.

This weekend, the Norisring – venue for last year’s season finale – hosts the fourth of the eight rounds that make up this season’s DTM. HRT lines up with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s and is hungry to banish the memories of Imola, where they left empty-handed, and get back to scoring plenty of points as the championship reaches the halfway point.

Four weeks after winning the Pro-Am class at the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring, Haupt Racing Team returns to the Nordschleife for the fourth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.
