The HAUPT RACING TEAM will compete in the legendary 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with three works-supported Mercedes-AMG GT3s and a top-class driver line-up.

At round 4 of the GT World Challenge Europe in Magny-Cours, the HAUPT RACING TEAM wins its first Sprint Cup race in the series and finishes third in the second race. The #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Maro Engel and Luca Stolz behind the wheel dominated the night race on Saturday from start to finish and added another impressive performance on Sunday to collect valuable points for the championship.

After their home race in the GT World Challenge Europe at the Nürburgring, the HAUPT RACING TEAM will be traveling to France this weekend where the second round of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup will be hosted at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.

The HAUPT RACING TEAM (#4) finished third in round two of the Endurance Cup within the GT World Challenge Europe. The #5 Mercedes-AMG GT3 fought back superbly to finish sixth in the Silver Cup.

After the six-hour NLS race last weekend, the HAUPT RACING TEAM is facing its next endurance challenge in the Eifel region where the third round of the GT World Challenge Europe will take place on Sunday, 6 September. Just like at the first race of the Endurance Cup in Imola, HRT will enter the competition at the Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring with two vehicles. 

The 6-hour highlight race at the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife was a mix of fortune and misfortune for HAUPT RACING TEAM. The #17 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT classified in 6th position after an astounding chase. After a promising start into the fifth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AutoArenA had a massive crash in the second lap of the race. Also the #16 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT which was in a secure top three position was involved in a collision and could not continue the race.

The HAUPT RACING TEAM intends to take the next victory at the 6-hour highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. With two victories, a second and a third place HRT can look back on an impressive record in this year’s NLS season after four races so far.

HRT got its campaign in the Sprint Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS off to a successful start at Misano World Circuit. With the team’s #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3, Maro Engel (GER) and Luca Stolz (GER) secured a second and a pair of fourth places in the weekend’s three races of one hour each. After a pair of race wins and two further podium results in the Nürburgring Endurance Series, this is the maiden international podium result for recently founded HAUPT RACING TEAM.

After the start of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS in Imola two weeks ago, the HAUPT RACING TEAM is back in Italy.

In the fourth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) today, the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AutoArenA finished third, confirming their previous success. With two victories and a second place in the first three NLS races, HAUPT RACING TEAM has achieved another remarkable result in this year’s Nordschleife season.
