The Haupt Racing Team and YOKOHAMA Rubber Co., Ltd. continue their successful partnership. As in the previous year, the German GT team will rely on ADVAN racing tyres and the expertise of the Japanese tire manufacturer for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring and the races of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series (NLS). In 2025, HRT will compete on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for the first time with Ford Mustang GT3 cars and factory support from Ford Performance.

The Haupt Racing Team will not only compete with a new race car this season - the Ford Mustang GT3 - but also with new outfits from Sparco. The German GT team from Drees at the Nürburgring and the renowned Italian racing apparel brand have signed a long-term partnership agreement.

The Haupt Racing Team is relying on a young yet experienced driver line-up for the first season with the Ford Mustang GT3. With Arjun Maini, Jusuf Owega and David Schumacher, the line-up includes three drivers with DTM experience. Salman Owega and Finn Wiebelhaus were active for HRT in 2024, including in the ADAC GT Masters. Further drivers will be added to the provisional line-up in the coming weeks.

Haupt Racing Team is adding a new element to its motorsport portfolio – kart racing. Starting with the 2025 season, the renowned German GT team will cooperate with the successful kart team SIM-ON. Entries in the German Kart Championship (DKM) and the IAME Euro Series are planned. The cooperation will generate several synergies: from the technical infrastructure at the HRT RACE BASE at the Nürburgring, to the support provided by race engineers and driver coaches, to the joint use of race simulators. With this partnership, HRT strengthens its promotion of young talent in line with the ADAC's "Road to DTM" initiative.

As in the two previous years, the Haupt Racing Team will continue to rely on the professional adhesive tapes and innovative fastening solutions from SCHARNAU in this and the coming season. The cooperation also includes vehicle wraps for design and protection as well as the joint development of new adhesive solutions that prove themselves in tough motorsport conditions. The partnership will be highlighted by a Ford Mustang GT3 with a full SCHARNAU / 3M design, racing in the ADAC GT Masters 2025. In addition, the SCHARNAU logo will be visible on HRT's racing cars in all other races.

The grand finale of the Nürburgring Endurance Series will take place on the legendary Nordschleife in mid-November. At the sixth round of the NLS, the Haupt Racing Team will enter the race with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 #6 sporting a very special livery to bid farewell to its partners BILSTEIN, MANNOL and Merbag and to thank them for the successful cooperation.

The Haupt Racing Team celebrated a strong debut at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain, with three medals. In the GT competition, team founder Hubert Haupt and Finn Wiebelhaus (both GER) won the gold medal for Team Germany. In the GT Sprint, Wiebelhaus and Daniel Juncadella (ESP) also won two medals, silver and bronze.

The Haupt Racing Team is entering a new era in its success story: Starting next season, the highly decorated German DTM team will compete as factory supported team with the Ford Mustang GT3 as part of a long-term cooperation spanning multiple race series.

The Haupt Racing Team will be contesting the FIA Motorsport Games for the first time at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo from 23 to 27 October. As Team Germany, the squad from Drees will represent the German colours in the GT discipline with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 and drivers Hubert Haupt and Finn Wiebelhaus (both GER). In the GT Sprint category, Finn Wiebelhaus will compete for Germany and Daniel Juncadella (ESP) for Spain.

HRT ended the season in the DTM and the ADAC GT Masters on a high note last weekend from 18th to 20th October. With Arjun Maini and Jules Gounon, who stood in for Luca Stolz at short notice, Mercedes-AMG Team HRT celebrated the manufacturers' championship for Mercedes-AMG in the DTM. In the ADAC GT Masters, the Haupt Racing Team successfully defended the team championship title.
