The 6-hour highlight race at the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife was a mix of fortune and misfortune for HAUPT RACING TEAM. The #17 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT classified in 6th position after an astounding chase. After a promising start into the fifth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AutoArenA had a massive crash in the second lap of the race. Also the #16 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT which was in a secure top three position was involved in a collision and could not continue the race.

The HAUPT RACING TEAM intends to take the next victory at the 6-hour highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. With two victories, a second and a third place HRT can look back on an impressive record in this year’s NLS season after four races so far.

HRT got its campaign in the Sprint Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS off to a successful start at Misano World Circuit. With the team’s #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3, Maro Engel (GER) and Luca Stolz (GER) secured a second and a pair of fourth places in the weekend’s three races of one hour each. After a pair of race wins and two further podium results in the Nürburgring Endurance Series, this is the maiden international podium result for recently founded HAUPT RACING TEAM.

After the start of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS in Imola two weeks ago, the HAUPT RACING TEAM is back in Italy.

In the fourth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) today, the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AutoArenA finished third, confirming their previous success. With two victories and a second place in the first three NLS races, HAUPT RACING TEAM has achieved another remarkable result in this year’s Nordschleife season.

With two victories and a second place in three NLS races, HAUPT RACING TEAM has achieved impressive results in this year’s Nürburgring Endurance Series. In the fourth NLS round, HRT will enter the track with one Mercedes-AMG GT3.

The season opener of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS in Imola today did not bring the result HAUPT RACING TEAM has wished for. The #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the colors of AM Solutions finished 15th, the #5 car had to retire early.

After the historic double victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), HAUPT RACING TEAM is facing its next highlight at the season opener of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS in Imola on Sunday, 26 July.

The Mercedes-AMG Team HRT with starting number 16 is declared winner of the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. In the course of a technical inspection, the use of an unmarked tyre was discovered on the Ferrari 488 GT3 of the Octane 126 team. This led to the team's disqualification. The AM Solutions Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the HAUPT RACING TEAM moves up one position and is now declared winner of the 52nd ADAC Barbarossapreis. Thus, Maro Engel, Manuel Metzger, Adam Christodoulou and Luca Stolz win both runs of the NLS double header.  The new result is still subject to confirmation. 

Having scored its maiden victory on the previous day, HRT adds the next impressive achievement in the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS): in the 52nd ADAC Barbarossapreis, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 with starting number #16 secured second place. A little bit further down, the #17 Mercedes-AMG GT3 finishes eighth, securing the second top ten result for HAUPT RACING TEAM. The #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 rounds out the overall score for HRT with eleventh place.
