Haupt Racing Team presents the new designs of the two Mercedes-AMG GT3s, with which the team will go in pursuit of points and podiums when the DTM season gets underway at the end of April. As announced in February, the cars will be driven by Arjun Maini (IND) and Luca Stolz (GER).

The new GT World Challenge Europe season gets underway this weekend for Haupt Racing Team. Imola (Italy) stages the first of the five events that make up the Endurance Cup within this prestigious racing series. HRT will line up at every one of the endurance races with three Mercedes-AMG GT3.

The Haupt Racing Team has opened the 2022 Nordschleife season with the first race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. The #12 HRT car, which had entered the competition as "Mercedes-AMG Team Bilstein", secured the fourth overall position after a strong catch-up performance. The #6 sister car had to make a prolonged pit stop halfway through the 4-hour race and eventually crossed the finish line in P15 in the SP9 Pro class.

HRT lines up in this season’s Nürburgring Endurance Series with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s, each with a crew of top drivers at the wheel. The team from Meuspath will contest the opening race on 26th March, and HRT will also field its two cars at the third race weekend of the season on the legendary Nordschleife. Further outings are also planned in this prestigious series, which comprises a total of eight events.

Haupt Racing Team and BILSTEIN have been partners for two years, and this partnership is now set to intensify in the 2022 season, as the chassis specialist remains official technology partner of HRT.

HRT will contest its third season in the Endurance Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe (GTWCE) with three cars. The team from Meuspath will field two Mercedes-AMG GT3s in the Silver Cup class of the endurance series, which features a top-class field. The third car will do battle for points and podiums in the new Gold Cup class.

Haupt Racing Team has entered into a strategic cooperation with Mannheim-based company PAUL GmbH. The specialist in digital transformation will provide the team from Meuspath with access to its expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analysis and process management.

HRT has rearranged its team for the 2022 DTM season, which kicks off at the end of April: Mercedes-AMG Performance driver Luca Stolz (GER) and Arjun Maini (IND) will drive the two Mercedes-AMG Team HRT cars at the eight race weekends in the fiercely-competitive series.

After the season opener in Dubai last weekend, the Asian LeMans Series moves on to Abu Dhabi.

This season, Haupt Racing Team will compete in the Asian Le Mans Series for the first time. The team from Meuspath is set to line up with one Mercedes-AMG GT3 in all four of the series’ races.
