The Mercedes-AMG Team HRT will enter the DTM race weekend at the Nürburgring with three cars.

The third DTM event of the season, at Circuit Zolder in Belgium, was a real rollercoaster ride for Mercedes-AMG Team HRT with Maximilian Götz claiming a well-deserved podium.

With the first DTM victory in the still young history of Mercedes-AMG Team HRT, the squad around Lausitzring winner Maximilian Götz travels to the third DTM weekend of the season in Zolder, Belgium, with plenty of tailwind.

For the Haupt Racing Team, the 24h race of Spa-Francorchamps was a disappointment after intensive preparation and ambitious goals. Both Mercedes-AMG GT3s had to end the endurance classic in the Belgian Ardennes early. The cars with the starting numbers #4 and #5 had ambitions for podiums in the overall standings and in the Silver Cup.

Haupt Racing Team is fielding two strong Mercedes-AMG GT3s at the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa. 

Mercedes-AMG Team HRT bounced back in style at the Lausitzring with a first DTM victory for Maximilian Götz in the #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Due to a technical, fuel-related offence, Vincent Abril has been retrospectively disqualified for the full race weekend in Monza. As a result, he has been deducted any points he scored there.

After a promising start into the season at Autodromo Nazionale Monza scoring two podium finishes, Mercedes-AMG Team HRT is approaching the second DTM racing weekend at the Lausitzring in optimistic mood and full of anticipation.

Roughly 30 years since his debut and almost 20 years since his last outing, Hubert Haupt is set for a return to the DTM. The HRT team owner will make his first guest start at the Nürburgring at the end of August. The appearance of the 52-year-old from Munich goes hand in hand with a second comeback: the #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will sport the black and white design of new team partner PLAYBOY. Over the years, the iconic logo of the world-famous lifestyle magazine has adorned several cars in the DTM.

After the impressive second place yesterday, the Haupt Racing Team left the Nürburgring-Nordschleife empty handed on Sunday after a collision with another car that was no fault of their own.
