In its first year of cooperation with the SIM-ON kart team, Haupt Racing Team celebrated its first championship title in the German Kart Championship (DKM). At the final race of the season in Wackersdorf, Bavaria, Lars Ramaer triumphed over his competitors in the X30 Senior category.

Last weekend, the Haupt Racing Team celebrated the first overall victory of a Ford Mustang GT3 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife – securing itself a place in the rich motorsport history of the US car manufacturer. In the eighth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, Vincent Kolb and Frank Stippler staged an impressive comeback in the #6 car, driving from tenth on the grid to a historic overall victory. In an interview, Managing Director Ulrich Fritz explains why this success in the debut season with the Ford Mustang GT3 is so significant and why there is still a lot to learn.

The DTM kicks off the second half of the season at the Nürburgring next weekend. The Haupt Racing Team celebrated its first overall victory in the ADAC GT Masters with Salman Owega and Finn Wiebelhaus in the Ford Mustang GT3. Their teammates Max Reis and David Schumacher completed the one-two finish at the Nürburgring with second place. The front row was also occupied by HRT's Ford Mustang GT3s in both qualifying sessions of the weekend. In race one, the team was already able to cheer on victory in the Silver Cup and an overall podium finish. HRT CEO Ulrich Fritz sums up HRT's best team result of the season so far and looks ahead to the coming weeks.

The Ford Mustang GT3 passed its first major endurance test on the Nordschleife at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. Dennis Fetzer, Jusuf Owega, Salman Owega and David Schumacher (all GER) confidently secured class victory in the SP9 PRO-AM.

With the switch to Ford Performance this year, the Haupt Racing Team has opened a new chapter in its success story. Supported by the renowned car manufacturer, the Haupt Racing Team is competing with a strong line-up in numerous prestigious championships and races in Europe. Along with the DTM races, the debut of the Ford Mustang GT3 in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring is a highlight of the season. The team also competes in the ADAC GT Masters, the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS and the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series.

The Haupt Racing Team has two new, powerful partners for the 2025 DTM season: German Airways and Speedlink. Together with HRT, these two renowned German brands are committed to innovation, dynamic performance and achieving the highest standards in international motorsport.

In addition to the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS endurance races, the Haupt Racing Team will also compete in the Sprint Cup races of this high-class SRO series. Romain Andriolo (FRA) and Jusuf Owega (GER) will share the wheel of the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, under the HRT Ford Performance entry.

The Haupt Racing Team and Ford Performance will be competing in another prestigious racing series in 2025 as part of their new partnership. In the ADAC GT Masters, the team from Drees is continuing its successful promotion of young talent this year with the Ford Mustang GT3 under the name HRT Ford Performance. A line-up of three cars will contest the six race weekends of the season for the reigning team champion.
