As well as the races on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the Haupt Racing Team will also line up with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 sporting the iconic Bilstein livery in the DTM in 2021. This additional commitment sees HRT and Bilstein add another high-profile marketing and communication platform to their successful partnership. The blue and yellow Bilstein GT3 will bear the #5 in the DTM and will be driven by Vincent Abril (FRA).

HRT’s pre-season preparations enter the next phase at the second official DTM test, which takes place this week (4th to 6th May 2021) at the Lausitzring. At the EuroSpeedway, former DTM driver Hubert Haupt’s team will line up with a well-known car in the colours of chassis specialists Bilstein. The blue and yellow #5 Mercedes-AMG GT3, with Vincent Abril at the wheel, will take to the grid in all 16 of this season’s DTM races. The season-opener takes place in Monza from 18th to 20th June. The Haupt Racing Team will field two GT3 cars, with extended support from Mercedes-AMG, in the iconic racing series.
The partnership in the DTM sees HRT and Bilstein extend their successful cooperation with a new marketing and communication platform with an international reputation. The chassis specialists are also the official technology partner of HRT for all its outings in the Green Hell that is the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. Here too, HRT lines up with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 sporting a full-car Bilstein livery in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), as well as at the legendary 24-hour race and the preceding 24h Qualification Race.
