HAUPT RACING TEAM WITH HIGH GOALS AHEAD OF UPCOMING NLS ROUND

PREVIEW | 27 April, 2021 | Nürburg / Germany

The Haupt Racing Team returns to the Green Hell with high hopes this weekend after the first race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series had been cancelled due to difficult weather conditions.

The driver line-up remains unchanged: team owner Hubert Haupt, Patrick Assenheimer, Nico Bastian and Maro Engel will be sharing driving duties in the #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 once again. The #16 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be driven by Adam Christodoulou, Manuel Metzger and Luca Stolz. Both cars will be competing under the entry "Mercedes-AMG Team HRT" and are real eye-catchers: the #6 car will be sporting a full AutoArenA livery, while the #16 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be competing in a striking blue and yellow Bilstein livery.

Last year, HRT took victory in the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series and, thus, clinched two wins in the first double-header in the history of the NLS. The winners back then enter this weekend’s race with high expectations: Engel (#6) as well as Christodoulou, Metzger and Stolz (#16) will be doing their utmost to claim another success for HRT at the legendary Nürburgring.
