The #16 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with extended works support will be making its competition debut on Saturday, 11 July, at the 60th ADAC Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen , the second round of this year’s Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The car, sporting the AM Solutions livery, has experienced Nordschleife experts as its drivers: with Adam Christodoulou, Maro Engel and Manuel Metzger, three winners of the Nürburgring 24-hour race are alternating behind the wheel. Luca Stolz is rounding out the strong driver quartet of the #16 car that will also be racing for points on Sunday.
Sean Paul Breslin, team principal, HRT
“I am very happy about the opportunity to expand the partnership with AM Solutions. We have already been working together successfully in the past, among others with second place overall in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2019. We can build on this existing structure. In 2020, we will be running the AM Solutions car in both the NLS and the 24-hour race. Meanwhile, the car will also be competing in the Sprint and Endurance Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe. We are grateful for the support and we will be presenting this fantastic company in the international motorsport world in the best possible way.”
Stephan Rösler, President & CEO, Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH
“I am looking forward to the partnership with HAUPT RACING TEAM. HRT undoubtedly has a professional structure and has set itself high goals – that perfectly matches our corporate philosophy as well as our goal to increase the awareness of our still young AM Solutions brand. Being a partner of such an ambitious project from the outset is making us very proud and at the same time is an excellent platform to generate attention for our machine solutions for automated post processing of 3D printed components. We wish HRT good luck at the race track!”
