HRT ESPORTS TEAM READY FOR THE GREEN HELL

After the successful start of the HRT eSports Team with two podium finishes in the FCP Euro GT Word Challenge America Esports Championship, the team will face its next challenge this weekend. Two virtual Mercedes-AMG GT3s will participate in the season opener of the Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series presented by Goodyear at the digital version of the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

The Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AM Solutions with starting number 4 enters the race with Florian Denzler and Mercedes-AMG driver Dirk Müller behind the wheel. In the #5 Mercedes-AMG GT3 by the Mercedes-AMG Team HRT Bilstein, which will be competing in the art car design of this year's 24h race at the Nürburgring, HRT eSports team manager Danny Giusa and Nordschleife expert Nico Bastian will share driving duties throughout the three-hour race.

Starting from the first race of the DNLS, HRT will also launch a cooperation with Team Heusinkveld which enters one Mercedes-AMG GT3 (#101). Next to Jan Sentkowski and Mats-Thorge Huthsfeldt, Adam Christodoulou will be the Pro Driver for the Mercedes-AMG Team HRT Heusinkveld during the entire season: Like Nico Bastian and Dirk Müller, Christodoulou will compete in several races for the Haupt Racing Team at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 2021.
