The Haupt Racing Team and YOKOHAMA Rubber Co., Ltd. continue their successful partnership. As in the previous year, the German GT team will rely on ADVAN racing tyres and the expertise of the Japanese tire manufacturer for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring and the races of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series (NLS). In 2025, HRT will compete on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for the first time with Ford Mustang GT3 cars and factory support from Ford Performance.

  • ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring as joint season highlight

On a track like the Nürburgring with its famous Nordschleife, the 'Green Hell', tires play an extremely important role. HRT therefore relies on professional cooperation with YOKOHAMA Rubber to meet the challenges. The partnership offers many valuable synergies: In addition to the latest generation of ADVAN racing tires and race strategy support from YOKOHAMA's tire engineers, the focus is on technological development of the tires and the Ford Mustang GT3, which HRT is using for the first time.

The long-term goal of both partners is success at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. In the past, cars fitted with YOKOHAMA tires have won the legendary Nordschleife race three times. YOKOHAMA tires have also contributed to numerous victories and titles in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series. In the 2024 season, HRT celebrated victory in the six-hour 4th NLS race on YOKOHAMA tires.

Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer Haupt Racing Team: „Our cooperation with YOKOHAMA Rubber was very successful last year. This has encouraged us to continue to rely on YOKOHAMA's products and expertise for our new race cars. I am very pleased that it has worked out and that we can equip our Ford Mustang GT3s with ADVAN tires on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. We will do everything we can to be successful in the NLS and the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.“

Takayoshi Omae, General Manager, Consumer Tire Product Planning Department, YOKOHAMA Rubber Co., Ltd.: "Our partnership with HRT, which began last year, has grown into a truly collaborative and rewarding relationship. As a result, we got first place overall in the NLS4. Through relentless pursuit of victory, we have pushed each other to refine our technologies and skills, and we deeply appreciate HRT’s unwavering commitment to excellence and their exceptional team dynamics. We are delighted to continue this partnership and embark on another season together. With the debut of the new Ford Mustang GT3, the team has reached new heights, and we eagerly anticipate working alongside them to achieve success in both the 24-hour race and the NLS."
