The Haupt Racing Team will once again be represented in the DTM with two cars in 2024. Under the Mercedes-AMG Team HRT banner, the squad from Drees with Luca Stolz (GER) and Arjun Maini (IND) will once again fight for the championship in the premier class of German motorsport.

- Sister car #36 with Arjun Maini
The Haupt Racing Team has been represented in the DTM since the beginning of the GT3 era and can already look back on several victories and the 2021 drivers' championship in this top-class racing series. In the coming season, HRT is relying on proven staff under the Mercedes-AMG Team HRT banner. As in the previous season, Luca Stolz and Arjun Maini will take their seats in HRT's two Mercedes-AMG GT3s.
Luca Stolz, who will race the number 4 car, is one of the fastest drivers in the Mercedes-AMG GT3. The 28-year-old from Kirchen finished in the points in twelve out of 16 races last season and was the best Mercedes-AMG driver in the championship standings with one win and three podium finishes in sixth place.
As last year, his team-mate at HRT will be Arjun Maini. The Indian was particularly impressive in the second half of the season. He scored six points finishes in eight races, making a valuable contribution to HRT finishing fifth in the final team standings as the best Mercedes-AMG team.
HRT is also relying on continuity in the support team, but can also announce a new recruit in the form of Marios Avemarg. The experienced Avemarg has been in action for many years in the DTM and other renowned racing series in international GT3 sport and will form the DTM engineering team at HRT together with Dennis Nägele and technical director Laurent Fedacou in the coming season.
Mercedes-AMG Team HRT will first take part in the official test drives with this powerful squad from April 9-11, before the DTM kicks off the new season at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben from April 26-28.
Luca Stolz, #4 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT: "The DTM is the strongest GT3 series in the world and I am motivated to prove myself again in this environment. I'm confident that we have a realistic chance of winning the title with our package. We have shown over the past two years that we are a winning combination. If we consistently deliver these performances, anything is possible. It is always an advantage to compete with a well-coordinated team. I am very happy to be back on the grid with HRT and to continue our successful work."
Arjun Maini, #36 Mercedes-AMG Team HRT: " I am very happy to be part of the Mercedes-AMG team in the DTM again in 2024, and that for the third year together with HRT and Luca as team-mates. The DTM will be a great challenge again. I'm looking forward to working with the team to put everything I've learnt and the experience I've gained in recent years into practice. I hope to be able to deliver strong and consistent results throughout the season. I'm looking forward to the race at the Norisring the most. The atmosphere is great and I took my first DTM podium there."
Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer Haupt Racing Team: "We are entering our fourth DTM season together with Mercedes-AMG and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for the trust they have placed in us. With our line-up, we are also focussing on continuity and, with Arjun and Luca, are offering our proven driver pairing for the third year in a row. The team is well-rehearsed in every respect, which will be a great advantage. Finishing last season as the best Mercedes-AMG team in both the drivers' and team standings gives us further motivation. We are extremely positive about the coming season."
