This weekend, the town of Le Castellet in the south of France hosts round two of the Endurance Cup in the GT World Challenge Europe. Haupt Racing Team fields three Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the six-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard.
54 cars will line up in the “Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km”. The #4 Mercedes-AMG, sporting the full livery of team partner PAUL, and the #777 Al Manar Financial Investments car will take on the challenge in the Silver Cup. In the Gold Cup class, the number five car will have its sights set on victory, having finished on the class podium at the season-opener in Imola.
For HRT, the race weekend in southern France represents more than just the next opportunity to score valuable points in the championship: the endurance race also serves as preparation for round three – the legendary 24 Hours of Spa (28th to 31st July).
