Haupt Racing Team and BILSTEIN are continuing their successful partnership in 2022. The company from Ennepetal is now in its third season as official technology partner of the Meuspath-based team. The strategic partnership began back in 2020, in the same year as Haupt Racing Team was founded.

Since then, HRT has run the iconic blue and yellow Mercedes-AMG GT3 in various different racing series. The team will again regularly take to the grid with the popular BILSTEIN car in 2022.

Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the BILSTEIN design to start in the NLS, DTM and the Nürburgring 24 Hours

HRT ran the BILSTEIN GT3 at the 24 Hours of Dubai in January of this year, and the car is now set for its first European outing on 26th March at the opening round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) – HRT’s home race on the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

The HRT GT3 with the BILSTEIN livery will also take its place on the grid when the new DTM season gets underway on the last weekend in April – and then at all the events in this series. And the team will also have its sights set on victory when the blue and yellow Mercedes-AMG GT3 lines up at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Ulrich Fritz, Managing Director of Haupt Racing Team:
“BILSTEIN is an extremely important partner for us, and one that we have always been able to depend upon since the team was founded in 2020. We are delighted to be able to continue to work closely with the specialists at BILSTEIN, whose expertise allows them to make our cars even better and more competitive. We are hoping for a lot of success together with the blue and yellow GT3.”

Timo Krutoff, CEO thyssenkrupp Bilstein GmbH: “Haupt Racing Team and BILSTEIN are two strong partners who are perfectly made for each other. As such, I am thrilled with the extension of this partnership, which not only provides valuable impetus in the development of our shock absorbers, but is also very important to our international marketing communications: The involvement of HRT at the very highest level of motorsport, and the media coverage that comes with it, ensures even greater global awareness of the BILSTEIN brand in a highly competitive environment.”
