The Haupt Racing Team is entering this year's ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring with a strong and exceptional partner: the Drees-based team will be fielding a Ford Mustang GT3 in the striking corporate design of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) at the highlight of the season. In addition to the 24-hour race, the partnership also includes the preparatory races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). 

Niklas Kalus (GER) will once again compete for Haupt Racing Team in the 2026 season. He is planned to participate in the ADAC GT Masters, the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), and the GT Winter Series.

The Haupt Racing Team and THE YOKOHAMA Rubber Co. Ltd. will be tackling the “Green Hell” together again in 2026. The German racing team and the Japanese tire manufacturer are extending their successful collaboration, which began in 2024. The focus will once again be on racing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. HRT's Ford Mustang GT3s will be equipped with high-performance ADVAN racing tires for the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) races. HRT can also rely on YOKOHAMA's products and strategic support for the Nordschleife highlight, the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.

The Haupt Racing Team will make its debut at the legendary Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour. From February 13 to 15, the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, entered under the HRT Ford Racing banner, will be racing with drivers Dennis Olsen (NOR), Christopher Mies (GER), and Broc Feeney (AUS) on the demanding Mount Panorama Circuit.

The 2026 motorsport season will begin for the Haupt Racing Team in mid-January. The team will compete in the first round of the GT Winter Series at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão with two Ford Mustang GT3s. These same cars will be joining again for the third round of the season at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Following a successful debut season with the Ford Mustang GT3, the Haupt Racing Team will once again be competing in a wide range of events in 2026. In addition to the familiar racing series, the team will also be participating in selected events of the Intercontinental GT Challenge and the GT Winter Series.

Following the team and driver championship in the ADAC GT Masters, the Haupt Racing Team will continue to promote young talent in the coming season and compete in the well-known GT3 junior series. Four drivers for 2026 have already been confirmed.

The Haupt Racing Team can look back on a successful season. In an exciting debut year with the Ford Mustang GT3, the team from Drees won the ADAC GT Masters championship and took class victory at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring after continuous development. HRT also celebrated the American muscle car's first overall victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series, as well as several podium finishes.

The Haupt Racing Team has a new strong partner at its side in Cordulus. The Danish company is one of Europe's leading providers of advanced weather solutions. Cordulus supports HRT as its Official Meteo Partner with accurate, highly localized weather data that the German GT team uses to optimize its racing strategies.

With victories in the drivers' and team championships in the ADAC GT Masters and its first title in karting, HRT's young talent program can look back on a successful year. The young talents from HRT also secured class victory at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.
