The Haupt Racing Team will be represented by two cars in the 24h Qualifiers. Under the HRT Ford Racing entry, two Ford Mustang GT3s with strong driver lineups will be on the starting grid. For the first time, the team’s previously unveiled Bundeswehr-themed livery will be on display live at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Haupt Racing Team (HRT) continues to systematically develop its corporate structure: Managing Director Ulrich Fritz is expanding his involvement and is becoming a new shareholder of the renowned motorsports company based in Drees, near the Nürburgring. With this move, HRT is setting the course for further growth and sustainable business development.

In the 2026 season, the Haupt Racing Team will once again field three Ford Mustang GT3s in the ADAC GT Masters. The Drees-based team will compete in the six race weekends with striking liveries and set out to defend its title.

For the 2026 season, Haupt Racing Team will once again compete in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS. Two Ford Mustang GT3s, fielded by a strong lineup of drivers, will battle for top finishes and championship points in the five races of the Endurance Cup.

The Haupt Racing Team (HRT) is expanding its partner portfolio and entering into a strategic partnership with the medical health and performance company dieFITMACHER. The partnership aims to holistically optimize the team’s performance while raising awareness of innovative approaches in the field of health and performance within international motorsports.

Following his GT3 debut last season, Fabio Scherer (SUI) will once again compete for the Haupt Racing Team in a Ford Mustang GT3. His extensive 2026 racing schedule focuses primarily on endurance racing. It includes appearances in the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, and the Endurance Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.

The Haupt Racing Team will officially kick off its racing program for this year on the Nürburgring Nordschleife this coming weekend. The team from Drees will field two Ford Mustang GT3s in the second round of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). In the four-hour race, the team aims to build on a strong preseason.

HRT Ford Racing is entering the new DTM season with two Ford Mustang GT3’s, featuring a strong driver line-up. The DTM-experienced Ford Racing Factory Driver Arjun Maini (IND) will be joined by Ford Racing Driver Development Team member Finn Wiebelhaus (GER), making his debut in the top class of GT3 racing. The reigning ADAC GT Masters Champion is proof of HRT's ongoing commitment to promoting young talent, in line with the ADAC initiative, “Road to DTM.”

The Haupt Racing Team is continuing its successful path of promoting young talent in the ADAC GT Masters and has confirmed Max Reis (GER) as its sixth and final driver for the 2026 season. The 19-year-old from Ramstein will continue to race for the Drees-based team next year, thus continuing the successful collaboration.

The Haupt Racing Team is entering this year's ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring with a strong and exceptional partner: the Drees-based team will be fielding a Ford Mustang GT3 in the striking corporate design of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) at the highlight of the season. In addition to the 24-hour race, the partnership also includes the preparatory races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS).
