STRONG DUO: ARJUN MAINI AND FINN WIEBELHAUS TO COMPETE FOR HRT FORD RACING IN THE 2026 DTM

HRT Ford Racing is entering the new DTM season with two Ford Mustang GT3’s, featuring a strong driver line-up. The DTM-experienced Ford Racing Factory Driver Arjun Maini (IND) will be joined by Ford Racing Driver Development Team member Finn Wiebelhaus (GER), making his debut in the top class of GT3 racing. The reigning ADAC GT Masters Champion is proof of HRT's ongoing commitment to promoting young talent, in line with the ADAC initiative, “Road to DTM.”

HRT COMPLETES ITS ADAC GT MASTERS LINE-UP WITH MAX REIS

The Haupt Racing Team is continuing its successful path of promoting young talent in the ADAC GT Masters and has confirmed Max Reis (GER) as its sixth and final driver for the 2026 season. The 19-year-old from Ramstein will continue to race for the Drees-based team next year, thus continuing the successful collaboration.

“FULL CAMOUFLAGE” FOR THE NORDSCHLEIFE: HRT STARTS AT THE 24H NÜRBURGRING WITH THE BUNDESWEHR AS A NEW PARTNER

The Haupt Racing Team is entering this year's ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring with a strong and exceptional partner: the Drees-based team will be fielding a Ford Mustang GT3 in the striking corporate design of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) at the highlight of the season. In addition to the 24-hour race, the partnership also includes the preparatory races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS).

NIKLAS KALUS TO RACE FOR HRT AGAIN IN 2026

Niklas Kalus (GER) will once again compete for Haupt Racing Team in the 2026 season. He is planned to participate in the ADAC GT Masters, the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), and the GT Winter Series.

HRT AND YOKOHAMA PROLONG SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIP

The Haupt Racing Team and THE YOKOHAMA Rubber Co. Ltd. will be tackling the “Green Hell” together again in 2026. The German racing team and the Japanese tire manufacturer are extending their successful collaboration, which began in 2024. The focus will once again be on racing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. HRT's Ford Mustang GT3s will be equipped with high-performance ADVAN racing tires for the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) races. HRT can also rely on YOKOHAMA's products and strategic support for the Nordschleife highlight, the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.

PREMIERE FOR HRT AND THE FORD MUSTANG GT3 AT MEGUIAR'S BATHURST 12 HOUR

The Haupt Racing Team will make its debut at the legendary Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour. From February 13 to 15, the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, entered under the HRT Ford Racing banner, will be racing with drivers Dennis Olsen (NOR), Christopher Mies (GER), and Broc Feeney (AUS) on the demanding Mount Panorama Circuit.

SEASON START IN PORTUGAL: HRT KICKS OFF IN GT WINTER SERIES

The 2026 motorsport season will begin for the Haupt Racing Team in mid-January. The team will compete in the first round of the GT Winter Series at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão with two Ford Mustang GT3s. These same cars will be joining again for the third round of the season at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

2025 SEASON REVIEW: BRAND CHANGE AND CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FOR HRT

The Haupt Racing Team can look back on a successful season. In an exciting debut year with the Ford Mustang GT3, the team from Drees won the ADAC GT Masters championship and took class victory at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring after continuous development. HRT also celebrated the American muscle car's first overall victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series, as well as several podium finishes.
